"...great power involves great responsibility."


Citizens of California have reserved for themselves a great power to revise the state constitution and enact legislation at the ballot box.  This power has not gone unnoticed by special interests.

Every election cycle Californians must muddle through the labyrinth of ballot measures...some well meaning but poorly written, others cynical attempts to trick the electorate to enact into law some self-serving boondoggle.

Fortunately the Voter Information Guide usually provides all the information needed to make an educated decision.  Sometimes you can cut to the chase simply by reading who supports and who is against. 

Here's my take on the current ballot measures.
